| The "RIBEIRO
PRETO"-kennel is located in omat in the northeastern part
of Slovenia, close to the Austrian border. Our currently two Fila Brasileiros live with us in our house
and so does our cat. Puppies are also raised in our living area
and integrated in the "family" from their first day on.
Breeding healthy and vital dogs, with a strong
temper, on a broad genetic base, is our goal.
Fila
Brasileiros are strong and courageous, relatively natural dogs.
They are highly protective and usually show extreme distrust of
strangers. Thatīs why a Fila-puppy should become acquainted with, and
get used to anybody and anything it should accept in itīs environment
later on, as soon as possible. They are extremely affective and
devoted to "their people" and - as they always try to
please their masters - easy to handle. Still, consistency in training - of
course - is crucial.
